Adoption Fees

Why Do Rescues
Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Hardee Animal Rescue Team cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs

  • $400 - Puppies/Dogs aged between 8 weeks through year 1
  • $350 - Dogs aged 1 year and up

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Cats

  • $100.00 adoption fee for all cats

 

 

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Hardee Animal Rescue Team cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Hardee Animal Rescue Team dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs
  • Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
  • Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
  • Bordetella
  • Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test
  • Lyme Vaccine (if relevant)
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
  • Micro-chipped
  • Flea Prevention
  • Heartworm Prevention
Cats
  • Vaccines
  • Microchip
  • Spay or Neuter
  • FIV Test
  • Leukemia Test
